Add a user to your account
Add colleagues so they can sign in and work with you. You create their account and choose a password for them. They change it the first time they sign in.
Before you start
- Only an account administrator, or someone given permission to manage users, can add users.
- Your plan allows a set number of users. When all of them are used, you'll see a message offering to buy more.
- People who only answer your surveys or forms do not need an account and do not count as users.
Create the user
- In the top menu, open Admin Setting, then Users List.
- Click Create New User.
- Fill in:
- Name: the person's full name.
- Email: an address they can receive mail at. They'll use it to sign in.
- Password and Password Confirmation: a temporary password.
- Click Create User.
- Send the person their email address and temporary password.
When they sign in for the first time, they'll be asked to choose their own password.
Give them the right permissions
A new user can sign in but may not see everything yet. Give them a role:
- In Users List, find the user and open the menu on their row.
- Click Grant Privileges.
- Tick the Roles that match their work.
- Click Apply Role.
Tip Give each person only the roles they need. You can change them later from the same place.
If they forget their password
- In Users List, open the menu on the user's row and click Reset Password.
- Confirm. A new temporary password appears only once.
- Click Copy, send it to the user, then click Done.
They'll choose a new password the next time they sign in.
Warning Copy the temporary password before you close the message. It cannot be shown again.
If you can't add more users
If the message says "You have used all the seats your account allows", you can buy more seats from the same message, or move to a larger plan.
