Free trial and paid plans

Every account starts with a free trial, so you can try Pulseform before you pay. This page explains what the trial includes, what a paid plan adds, and how the two compare.

How the free trial works

  • Your account gets a free trial of 14 days from the day you sign up.
  • Pulseform is made of three services: Surveys, Forms and Monitoring. Each one has its own 14-day trial, which starts the day you turn it on, not the day you signed up.
  • Each service's trial is given once. Turning a service off and on again does not restart it.
  • You'll get reminders 7, 3 and 1 days before a trial ends, and on the last day.

Note The last day of a trial is a full day. The service keeps working until that day actually ends.

What changes when you pay

You subscribe to each service separately, so you pay only for what you use. A paid service gives you much higher limits:

Limit Free trial Paid
Responses per survey 100 300 in each billing period
Responses across all surveys 100 900 in each billing period
Number of surveys 1 3
Records per form 100 3,000 in each billing period
Records across all forms 100 9,000 in each billing period
Number of forms 1 3
Monitoring projects 1 2 on a six-month plan, 5 on a yearly plan
Users who can sign in 1 (you) 3

These are today's numbers. The Usage screen always shows the exact limits on your own account.

Things worth knowing

  • Responses and records start again every billing period. On a monthly plan, each survey gets a fresh 300 responses every month. Unused responses do not carry over.
  • Each limit exists twice: once per survey (or form), and once for the whole account. Whichever you reach first is the one that stops you.
  • People who answer your surveys are not users. Hundreds of people can answer your survey while only three colleagues sign in.
  • Paying for any one service raises your users from 1 to 3 across the whole account.
  • A paid period always starts on the day you subscribe. Unused trial days are not added to it.

Tip If you are in the middle of collecting data near the end of a trial, subscribe before it ends. Answers turned away while the trial is over cannot be recovered later.

Where to subscribe

  1. Open Services in the top menu.
  2. Choose the service you want and subscribe to it.

Only an account administrator can subscribe or buy extras.

Need more than your plan gives?

You don't have to move to a bigger plan because one number is short. You can buy just what you need, such as more responses for one survey or one more form. See Packs and add-ons.
